10 Days Premier Bush and Beach

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by a member of our team, who will transfer you to Macushla House and assist you at check in. The rest of your day will be spent at Leisure. All meals will be provided at Macushla House.

Macushla House is a delightful, good-value guest house, in a very quiet, pleasant location, and has been popular with our travellers for many years. The house having only six rooms makes it easy – if you're a solo traveller, or just like mixing – to meet others and share experiences. The pool is lovely on a hot afternoon and the always-open bar and excellent menu of snacks and main dishes are fine assets. Similar to its neighbours in the Karen area, this hotel benfits from being closely located near the main attractions such as the Giraffe Centre and the Karen Blixen Museum, which relates the escapades of this famous author.

After breakfast, you will fly on your chartered flight to the Chyulu Hills in the Tsavo West National Park. Track elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino under the guidance of an expert guide. On a game drive, you can visit the Mzima Springs, whose source is from a natural reservoir under the Chyulu Hills and are crystal clear, affording some of the best Hippo watching in Kenya. You can do horse riding, novice to professional, or mountain biking or even hiking here. There is an open air hide for some excellent game viewing and even sleep-outs on private “star beds” for the more adventurous.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara where, upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Cottar’s 1920s Camp - your home for the next 3 nights as you enjoy a game drive enroute.

Cottar's 1920s Camp is located a stone's throw away from the Masai Mara National Reserve in an exclusive concession. Boasting 7 ensuite exclusive safari tents, it's a sought after camp. Enjoy superb views from the veranda and soak up the luxurious atmosphere of the camp. Furnished with original safari antiques from the 1920s, the camp is a piece of history. Activities include day and night game drives, bush walks, a swimming pool, river swimming and fishing, bush meals, sundowners and massages.

After breakfast, you leave the savannahs and grasslands behind, and fly to the beautiful white beaches of the Kenyan south coast. You will stay at Afrochic Diani. Relax in the warm sunshine down on the sandy white beach and sip on a cocktail after a dip in the ocean or pool. In the evening, dine on a delicious meal of freshly prepared seafood.

Enjoy a beach holiday on the Kenyan coast. Set out in a traditional dugout canoe (Ngalawa) with a local fisherman and go snorkelling among the vibrant coral reefs. Be pampered with a rejuvenating massage or let the lodge arrange a number of optional activities for you. Diving, kite surfing, horse riding, Jet-ski, dolphin safaris and deep-sea fishing can all be arranged.

After your leisurely beach breakfast, you will be transferred to the local airstrip for your flight to Wilson airport, Nairobi. You have the option of a dayroom, lunch on own arrangements and later on, transfer to JKIA for your onward flight.
